Ethy's new pj bottoms

Sorry I've been away for a while!  Life gets a bit hectic now and again and doesn't leave you with much time to sew!

Well I've gone and got myself the Toyota Super Jeans 15 sewing machine as I wanted a heavy duty machine to withstand my new hobby of wanting to make clothes and to take up jeans lol!

My first sewing project on my new beastie was the lovely football themed pj's for my eldest son Ethan and he was so excited to get them on and has constantly worn them since 2pm this afternoon and he is in bed now with them on bless him

I'd used the Simplicity 2742 pattern which I picked up for a £1 in a sewing shop in Doncaster and the cotton fabric that is 60" wide was a steal from leeds market at 4.95 for 1 metre! So I was definitely onto a winner here

Margot pajama bottoms!

Yeah!!! Finally got round to completing the Margot Pajama bottoms from Love at First Stitch using my fab cat stretchy jersey fabric from Fabric Land in Bristol whilst on our hols a couple of weeks ago.

To say I'm a sewing novice I handled the stretch of this fabric real well after getting the tension and stitch length sorted lol!

The jersey gives the pj's a nice drape to them and uber comfy!! What is even better that they fit my short legs perfectly as I adjusted the pattern to fit me whilst tracing it out.

I'm now sat chilling in them they are just fab!!

I'd thought I'd go for the neon yellow cotton fabric to go with my Navy Duck Dress for a bit of quirk.

Squiggle Stamps Anything But a Card Challenge - DT

Hey Everyone! It's Saturday and for a change i have a full weekend off!!! Woo-hooo!!! Also it's time for the new Challenge at Squiggle HQ which is to create anything but a card! So for me a decided to create a cute chrismassy gift box to get me in the mood to actually make some Christmas cards!

Birthday Card

Kel Leaving Card and a little bit of news from me too!

here's a card I've made for my Work Pal Kel who is now on maternity leave the lucky thing and getting ready for her new arrival in January So i thought i would go for a cute and girly card for her!

Birthday card for Nephew

Hey All! Its Saturday already and its my turn to share a Squiggle Stamp creation with you all! I've used the newly released Skull Boy which is available here for the bargain price of £1.99!

When I saw this digi i just new it was my for my nephew who'll be 9 in October bless him they grow up soo quick!

Ive Teamed him up with some scrap bits left in my stash together with some funky gridlined Cardstock and some funky cute buttons! of ocurse ive used my promarkers to ink him in.

Also our Autumal Colour Challenge is still going on here all you have to do to be in with the chance of some yummy Squiggle goodies is to use a squiggle image and there is plenty of freebies and bargains to be had! looking forward to seing you there!

Digi Makeover Challenge 3 - Use Fabric!
