Kel Leaving Card and a little bit of news from me too!

here's a card I've made for my Work Pal Kel who is now on maternity leave the lucky thing and getting ready for her new arrival in January So i thought i would go for a cute and girly card for her!

Cupcake craftroom September challenge

Morning everyone! Can you believe it! It's the 1st of Septemeber already so its time for a new challenge over at the Cupcake Craftroom!

The challenge for Septemeber is the colour combo of Pink & Green which is Mandy's Fave colour combo! So we would love to see anything using the colours of Pinks and Greens of course!  You can use any shade of them as long as your main colours are of that colour combo and skin and hair colour is excluded (or you would have yourselves a very pretty alien) LOL

Benji's BD Tag

Morning Everyone! Happy birthday to my Bro today the grand ol' age of 22!! Unfornatley he is off to work today but he says he has already told them he isn't foing anything today as they wouldn't let him have the day off! LOL

Well i got him a pillow with inbuilt speakers so he can hook up his iphone and listen to music without having headphones in and chillax! Bless him he says i always get him the ace presents! At least he is pleased with it! Im not too happy with his hair though i can never get black hair right i just dont like the dark colour LOL if anyone has any tips feel free to share with me! Also this is to enter the Some Odd Girl Guest Call too over on FB how can anyone not pass the opportunity to work some fab images!

So i was lazy too i couldnt be bothered to wrap this huge thing of a pressie so i decided to make a nice tag for him and hang it from the handle and ive gone for a distressed not the norm tag as he is my bro and we dont do norm we like being quirky so ive used pigment ink pad to lightly ink the edges of the elements and staples and a bit of allsorts of course not forgetting my fav embeliie of all buttons and heres' how it turned out:

Leaving Card for G!

Our belved Team Leader Gordon aka G will be leaving us on Friday after 3 years with us he has been there since the opening of our Bureau so it will be very strange to see him go but all the best to him! Yay!!! Kaylee in Rubber!!

Woo hoo!!! Some Odd Girl have made some of their digis into clear stamps and OMG i could go mad with spending!! I've chosen Balloon Kaylee as she is such a cutie and perfect for any type of card and she would cheer up anyone's day well a female LOL! I've decided to use a field scene and made my hills out of carstock and whizzed them through my bigshot with a flower embossing folder and wait for it.....hand cut them im not the best person to free hand cut but i think it turned out ok

Wow what a busy Sunday this is!! Its Cupcake Cards and Crafts new challenge for May which is he theme for May is Red, White and Blue!

This month is to celebrate the wedding of William and Kate and what better challenge than to use the royal colours!

There will be one winner personally chosen as usual for this month's challenge who will receive the 'Patrotic' paper collection.

Also it's the Special Challenge at Sentimental Sundays! The challenge is "Mother's Day" or "For a Woman." The reason why this one is special is that we have an optional challenge of "Craft with a Child." We feel that it's a wonderful thing to be able to bond with a child through crafting and art! even though my wee one is not interested what so ever with card making apart from cutting up scarps of paper and creating a big mess on the floor, i did try bribery with sweets but that didn't even cut it with my son!
